Iris Debonaire by Creed
A Fragrance That Invites You To Move In Closer

Introduced in September 2026, Iris Debonair is the House of Creed's latest expression of understated sophistication. And in a fragrance market increasingly dominated by overpowering oud, aggressive spices, and scents that seem determined to enter a room five minutes before their owners, this is a wonderfully civilized alternative.
Inspired by Charles Creed, the house's fifth-generation fashion designer and aesthete, Iris Debonair brings together the precision of British tailoring and the sensual elegance of French perfumery.
From the first touch, here is what you get, Calabrian (maybe that’s why we love it) bergamot delivers a refreshing citrus brightness, while an unusual infusion of absinthe leaves introduces a sophisticated green character. Pink pepper and cardamom provide subtle spice without overwhelming the composition.

Then comes the heart and the BS marketing flowers: English lavender cultivated in Kent, complemented by violet leaf and a delicate fig pulp accord. The combination creates an aromatic softness that feels exceptionally polished. But the real star is French iris pallida, sourced from Les Landes, France. Among perfumery's most prized materials, iris possesses a beautifully powdery, velvety quality. Here, paired with ambrette and amberwood, it gives the fragrance its distinctive, quietly seductive personality.

The overall composition suggests elegance rather than excess. Or out another way, imagine a perfectly tailored navy jacket, a crisp white shirt, handmade Italian loafers, and an afternoon in Milan that effortlessly turns into dinner overlooking Lake Como.
That's Iris Debonair.
At $510 for 100 ml, this is hardly an impulse purchase. But luxury fragrance was never intended to be judged by the ounce. It's about craftsmanship, individuality, and the pleasure of wearing something exceptional.
